The short branded moments that open, close, and stitch our videos. Round 3 changes the product form: every sting is now built as a transparent overlay that drops onto any project, plus a set of all-new motion directions built for that form. The drop test at the top shows one sting landing on three completely different backgrounds. The previous round of drawn pieces stays below as the baseline. Everything on this page is staged for review. Nothing has been posted anywhere.
What this review needs
Watch the reel, then the drop test. 45 seconds. Each new direction plays with a label. The drop test shows why the overlay form matters: the same ending lands on three different projects untouched.
Call each direction by code. For each: library, rework, or out. Directions: the carve (CV), one line (LINE), the alignment (AL), light through the cross (RAYS), the living mark (LOOP), the ember take (EMB).
Grade the ending system. The sign-off stages three endings: clean, tagline, and web address. The plan assigns endings by what each surface should do next; say if any assignment feels wrong.
Grade the sound. Every piece carries professionally produced audio cut to its landing beat. Name the piece code and the moment if anything lands wrong.

Six new motion directions, all built on one rule: the finished sting is a transparent overlay that drops onto any video untouched. The mark is never welded to a background again.
Each direction speaks the same brand grammar: the mark assembles from its real pieces, the cross lives in the space between them, and the squared corner is the landing beat of every piece.

The Drop Test
One sign-off, three completely different backgrounds, zero rework. This is what the overlay form buys us.

The dark-background version carries a white center letter; the light version carries charcoal. Both file as masters.
A complete red ring is carved open by the cross, the corner squares off, and the name arrives. The everyday ending candidate, staged with all three endings in both shapes.
The four arcs hang scattered in space; the camera finds the one viewpoint where they line up into the mark. Opener runs fast, closer holds air for the next step.
Glowing embers stream in and forge the mark, landing on the exact geometry. A generated take built from the real mark, staged as a first proof of that lane.

An honest note: the ember stream blows in from one side rather than gathering evenly, and a soft smoke ghost rides the formation. Staged to show the lane; a keeper would get refinement passes.
The weekly news video's open and the transition that stitches any cut. The filmed version of this family is still rendering and follows in the next round.
